The Josephinum is opening the doors at the long night of museums on October 7, 2017 from 6.00 p.m. until 1.00 a.m.
The visitors have the possibilty to visit the anatomical wax models and the exhibition "Artifical hearts - the bridge to survival"

The artificial heart programme started at the Department of Surgery II in 1967 and went on to make Vienna an international centre for the development and testing of heart assist pumps. This pioneering research achievement is now to be featured in its own exhibition in the Josephinum under the title of

Multi percussionist Luis Ribeiro, who travels around the world and works with international artists like Martin Grubinger, presents percussion sounds in Latin American style.
Tickets are valid at the Josephinum or at the shop of the Medical University of Vienna.
